This place is true gem. The food is absolutely amazing! Nostalgic ambiance. The chef was very warm and welcoming. She walked me down the street and into different businesses to showcase the history and charm of the community . It was a genuine experience.

I'm sure by now everyone in the world knows that Cathy 's kitchen is the best! And she's always so very nice.

Run to Cathy's Kitchen if you want amazing food, friendly and warm service and a unique experience!!

First of I have to say the customer service is amazing! Cathy is always working and always willing to come to your table to see how you are doing! The place is really great to sit inside and eat. With pictures on the wall of her travels and where she took inspiration for her dishes is really unique. The food I had was amazing. Loved the Chicago Philly the best I have ever had at least. The voodoo shrimp was cooked perfectly and I absolutely love her strawberry cake!

Pretty good, i understand the kiosk thing, but for the older generations, that's going to be hard for them and cause a backup when ordering. Even though it seems self-explanatory, everybody isn't savy with those things. The food was great, the chicken was a little too salty, and one wing was undercooked. All in all, I would Mist definitely come, though, her food and personality is great. The only thing I would suggest is when you have people that come from out of town to visit, she should entertain them more

We made our last food stop here before going home. I've had soul food in different spots across the country. Cathy's takes the #1 spot after our visit. Menus are available via a QR code so there's no pressure on placing your order immediately. We had the St Louis Shrimp, BBQ fries, Chicken and sausage Cajun pasta, and a catfish filet. All of the food is a perfect representation of making the simple things right and not overcomplicating your food. The shrimp was fried and had a good light batter and was spicy but not too spicy. The fries were cooked and seasoned well. The catfish was moist and seasoned perfectly. And the pasta was just as seasoned and cooked to perfection just as everything else was. If you're visiting please go here. The menu has everything to choose from and the food will not disappoint!

SO GOOD! We are from out of town, looked up restaurants on Yelp, and HAD to come check out Cathy's! Licked the plates clean -- super fast, super seasoned, super nice service...10/10 will have to come back! We ordered the shrimp and grits per Cathy's recommendation, amazing!

Located in Ferguson, I am happy to see things continue to grow in this area. I've been following Cathy for some time on Instagram. I finally had the opportunity to come check them out. The place had a little bit of a diner vibe red and black decor with photos from their family travels, and celebrities. The menu is themed around the places they have traveled. New Orleans, Memphis, and Chicago to name a few. We were greeted warmly by the team. Guests can either order via kiosk at the front of the restaurant or via QR code at their table. You're meal gets delivered to your table by the most adorable server Plato! The food was delicious. My favorite city is New Orleans, and am well versed in creole and Cajun cooking. I went with the catfish po boy. I was blown away! The bread was the exact crusty French bread a traditional po boy is served on. The fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. Their aioli was the perfect combination for this sandwich. I also went with the red beans and rice. The beans were perfectly creamy. They stayed creamy once mixed in to the rice and did not dry out. The salt was a little more than I am used to, but all the flavors were perfect. My companion went with the buffalo chicken wrap. This wrap was stuffed full. The fries were also fantastic. Crisp and well seasoned and pillowy soft on the inside. I recommend paring them with a side of aioli. In all we had wonderful experience and plan to visit again soon.
